The state-of-the-art facilities of Montreux Business University are housed in a beautiful Belle Époque building that first opened its doors as a hotel in the 19th century. It is nestled on the shores of Lac Léman, at the foot of the Swiss Alps. This is where the Empress of Austria, Elizabeth of Wittelsbach (better known as “Princess Sissy”), often stayed whenever she came to Montreux.
MBU ideally combines both historic decors with highly modern facilities. Research has proven that a stimulating environment is conducive to optimal learning. At Montreux Business University, students study in beautiful classrooms equipped with state-of-the art technology: interactive boards, beamer, laptop for the professors etc.
Students can enjoy their free time in the students’ lounge with sofas, a TV with international channels, a DVD player and computers. This is the perfect place to relax, watch TV, read magazines, or enjoy a coffee break with friends.
In MBU library students can find online access to research material, such as books, journals and databases. Also, separate meeting rooms are available for use by study groups.
Our students can access the facilities of MBU whenever they want, or need to, thanks to a very convenient fingerprint system at the entrance door of the building.
Due to our open-door policy, our students can come to any of the staff and faculty members with any questions or issues that bothers them – concerning the university or anything personal. We are here to support!
