Prof. Philippe Vedel – Marketing & Digital Media

MBU Faculty: Philippe Vedel

 

Philippe P. Vedel speaks English, Italian and French, holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, a world leading business school.

He is currently a Senior Consultant and Business Developer for SMEs and Startups in the technology and digital sectors. He is also a lecturer within renowned Business Schools in International Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce and E-Business.

His previous positions include:

MBA Program Director at Eduservices, where Mr. Vedel managed International Sales/Marketing and Human Resources MBAs.

Prior to Eduservices, Mr. Vedel was VP Global Sales and Marketing in a fast growing technology start-up allowing digital intelligence to be embedded into products to enhance energy efficiency.

Mr. Vedel has extensive global sales, marketing and operations experience working for more than ten years for Eaton Corporation, a global leader in fluid power systems, automotive and truck components and electrical systems. He has lived around the world including the USA, South East Asia, Italy, Switzerland, the UK and France.

In between roles at Eaton, Mr. Vedel managed the LEM Instruments business where he sat on the executive management team for the LEM Group and helped turn the company into a global business after a series of acquisitions.
